Learn the 6 steps to quickly import ANY brush pack into Photoshop!


Step 1: Download brush pack

Make sure the file is in your downloads and is a .ABR file.

Step 2: Find The Photoshop Brush Folder

MAC: To Access this folder go to your Finder then click Applications > Adobe Photoshop CC > Presets > Brush

PC: Go to Window > Local Disk > Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CC > Presets > Brush

Step 3: Move Brush Pack Download Into Brush Folder

Drag and drop the .ABR brush pack download into the Brush folder.

Step 4: Select Load Brushes In Photoshop

Now go over into Photoshop and grab your Brush tool. Open the brush panel, click on the GEAR logo, then click LOAD BRUSHES.

Step 5: Select New Brush Pack

Follow the same path as previous to the BRUSH folder. Select the brush pack you want to import into Photoshop. If you are unsure about the exact path, see below:

MAC: Applications > Adobe Photoshop CC > Presets > Brush > *Desired Brush Pack*

PC: Window > Local Disk > Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CC > Presets > Brush > *Desired Brush Pack*

Step 6: Find New Brushes

You will notice that the new brushes do not appear at the top of your brush panel. Not to worry, scroll to the bottom of your brushes and you will see your newly imported brushes! See below:

And that’s it!

Now you can start putting those new brushes to use! This technique will work for any brush packs you decide to download, just ensure the files are .ABR or you may run into some issues.
